High schools
The Giovanni Poleni Museum invites students on a journey through time, to discover physics and its role in the history of science and society. Through the observation of ancient instruments and their biographies, students will explore the scientific methods and practices developed from the 18th century to today.
The common thread is the Physics Cabinet founded by Giovanni Poleni in 1739, a place that has marked the history of the university and the European scientific community. The Museum’s collections also offer interdisciplinary insights, highlighting the links between science, art, music, and architecture, and invite reflection on the relationship between science and society over the centuries.
